First Impressions:

Usher, Greeter, Parking Lot Attendant, Sunday Snacks

Remember the first time you came to MLBC? It can be intimidating coming to the service for the first time! That is why there is an entire ministry that revolves around first impressions. You can be the first smiling face someone sees by serving as a parking lot attendant, a greeter who welcomes others, or an usher who helps folks around. Perhaps you love to bake and would want to be a part of those who bring snacks, so folks get a treat as they come to service. If you can smile and love hospitality, this is for you.

Helping Hands:

Maintenance, Helping People Move, Providing Rides, Kitchen

Throughout the year, our church building needs to be maintained by painting, plumbing, building, etc. And sometimes, people in our church family need help moving or need to be driven to the airport or hospital. When these needs arise, we need some helping hands. Another aspect of this are those who serve in the kitchen for our events as well as prepare growth group meals. If you enjoy the ‘hands-on’ ministry, this is for you

Behind the Scenes:

Cleaning and Media

Media

Every week, people are needed to run the sound system, screens, and videos. Whether you have skills and knowledge in this area, or you are willing to be trained, we would love for you to be a part of the team. See Noah Gales if you are willing to serve in this area.

Cleaning

Throughout the week, people clean the church to get it ready for services on Sunday. If you are a part of the cleaning ministry you will be paired with another family to clean the church on a six-week rotation. See Judy Fountain for more information.

Clubhouse Kids:

Kids Class Helper, Kids Class Snack Provider

Every week during our services, there are workers who watch, teach, and care for the children of MLBC. During the Sunday morning worship service, there is Jr. Church and a Preschool Class. Workers are placed on a monthly or 6 week rotation based on the class. See Carlos Farias to join the team.

Nursery Worker

Throughout every service, there are loving nursery workers taking care of the babies. This is one of the most important ministries within the church and we would love for you to be involved. Workers are placed on a monthly or 6 week rotation based upon who signs up and how many are involved. See Beth Elliott if you have any questions regarding our wonderful nursery.

Connections:

Door Knocking, Blitzing, Social Media

Through our Connections Ministry, you can be a part of the Great Commission by door knocking, blitzing, and using social media! Social media is a very quick and effective way to share the good news of Jesus Christ as well as what is going on at MLBC with just a couple pushes of a button. Worship:

Choir, Instrumental

Do you sing or play an instrument? Consider joining our Music Ministry! If you’re interested in being a part of helping God’s people to worship Him through music, you can contact Noah Gales, and he’d love to talk with you about getting involved! Our music ministry is for members of the church, so if you haven’t attended a Starting Point Class yet, that’s your first step!
